John Frank, a local author and teacher in the LWSD, will be here on March 27^th at 6:30pm to read some of his books sign autographs.  Kids will then go to different classrooms where dads have been recruited to read their favorite stories.  Kids will be encouraged to wear their pajamas and come with their whole family.

9              Community Math Night w/ Ruth Parker

Ruth Parker from Mathematics Education Collaborative will be coming to Peter Kirk on for an evening of math! Ruth has been to many of our elementary schools in the LWSD and we are thrilled to have her come and discuss the Math you see your kids bring home.   She is not affiliated with any particular math program and comes with great perspective as a teacher and parent.  Many of our own parents had the chance to attend one her family seminars and saw great benefit in her message.  A flyer will come out closer to the date, but make sure to MARK your calendars NOW
